These salt licks are not your typical compressed salt blocks! They are mined from ancient deposits in the Himalayan Mountains. Pure and full of minerals.

I tried some very expensive loose salt and mineral combos and it did not seem to matter how hot it was. My horses (with one exception) were not consistently intrigued with them.
When I put this piece of salt in my mare's stall, I thought she would never stop licking it.
Now, she is not obsessivee about it, but she seems to enjoy it enough that I replace them regularly and my gelding likes his, too. I take them with me when I travel and hang them in the horse trailer and in their temporary quarters.
